If you really loved Philadelphia, you would love it for all of its flaws. Think of a person in your life that you love. They probably piss you off and have some flaws, but despite that, you still love them. That’s how I look at Philly. The pictures of the abandoned buildings and homes is a reminder of what else exists in Philly. There are a million sites out there that post pictures of the Ben Franklin, or the Skyline, Love Park, Art Museum, whatever. That’s all fine and good, but that’s less than 1% of the city. A much larger percent of the city is represented when I post pictures of abandoned homes and businesses.
