[My grandparents owned a restaurant in Cedar Park in the 1940s and 1950s, until my grandfather, Pius Caspar Bruhin, died. (After his death, the family sold Caspar’s Cafe to the Apesos family, who ran it successfully well into the 1970s.)

Today, I am exhibiting my “Urban Landscapes” photographs among the first crop of artists to appear at Saba Tedla’s new Seeds Gallery at 5011 Baltimore Avenue, a block away from the site of my grandfather’s restaurant.]
