I’m a street photographer from Philadelphia Pennsylvania and for almost the last three years I have been working on a 1000 photograph project. The Philadelphia Project is a gritty, contrast look at life in center city Philadelphia through my eyes. I wanted a way to release a pubilcation that will show every photo from this project as every photo is just as important as the next one. A single large publication is astronomical in cost to publish and would require a price out of the reach of most people. A more fun and reasonable solution would be to produce a series of collectable handmade Xerox printed books that’s popular with Japanese photographers. This will be a series of 40 8.5" x 11" softcover books limited to 50 copies each. Every book will feature 25 b&w photographs and will be signed and numbered. A new book will be released every month. This funding would secure the printing and assembling of the first three books.
